This vacation house is build on a steep slope overlooking a bay and the resort city of Patong. The site contains thick vegetation in a region of tall, slender rubber and coconut trees. The house follows the contour of the land and all the spaces have views out to the bay.

The house is divided into three parts: multipurpose, and guest areas. The use of large overlooking roofs responds to the tropical climate by providing ample shading and protection from monsoon rains. The house is able to open easily and allow in the ocean breeze. Local materials are used for finishing, including wood flooring, teak detailing, and walls made of local granite. The materials help the large house to blend into the hillside. Large stones from the site have been incorporated into the design and the landscaping is aimed at recreating the surrounding forest.
