The clients required privacy spaces for their family members. Therefore, each family member had a room with similar functions to a hotel suite. Meanwhile, the main common area of the house, such as the living room, dining room can be a place for meeting, which should be easily accessed. The main common area is used for 2 main objectives. Firstly, for Buddhist rituals such as giving food offerings to monks and making merit, which requires a space similar to a chapel to house a large Buddha image and the gathering of several people. The second objective is a casual entertaining space by the swimming pool. Accommodating all of the clientrequirements necessitated a vast service area and a large floor plan that needed to be compact, cozy and informal. Moreover, all areas have direct views into the garden.
