Dib Bangkok, Bangkok’s first international contemporary art museum, is set to open to the public on 21 December 2025.
The museum is housed in a former warehouse originally built in the 1980s, which has been renovated and reimagined by wHY Architecture in collaboration with ARCHITECTS 49 (A49).
The name “Dib” embodies the idea of naturalness and authenticity, reflected across the museum’s spatial experience, architectural language, and curatorial programs. Under the progressive vision of Mr. Purat Osathanugrah, Founder and Chairman, the museum invites audiences to engage with contemporary art from Thailand and around the world. Drawing inspiration from the legacy and dreams of his father, Mr. Petch Osathanugrah, he reinterprets and extends that vision for the present day. Rather than preserving the collection in private, his aspiration is to give life to the artworks by opening them to the public—through the creation of an inclusive museum that welcomes audiences across generations and cultures.
