HOLIDAY INN VIETNAM

Ho Chi Minh City is one of the fastest growing Asian cities. With Vietnams recent economic development, along with a growing support for developmental investments, a large number of hotels are being constructed across the country. Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines has decided to build a city hotel in their business partners. Holiday Inn Saigon Hotel is a 265-room four-star city hotel. The site includes a 30-year-old five-story office building in the French colonial style commonly seen throughout Vietnam. Intended to blend into this context, the design of the new Holiday Inn utilizes and modernizes by renovating the existing building at the front, and integrating elements of the style into a new 13-story building at the back. The hotel lobby and an octagonal-shaped restaurant at the corner of the intersection, together with a colonnade-surrounded reflecting pool, are also added to the front of the existing building, enriching it and enhancing the project distinctive character. At the same time, this helps to tone down the noise of the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
