Planning for this project began with the aim of maximizing usage of the site while controlling the size of the building, limiting it to less than 23 meters in height and 10,000 square meters in gross area. An additional requirement was that the building must be set back 6 meters from the perimeter. The result was a five-story building with a rather simple structure, 6 and 8 meters wide. The first floor serves as a welcome hall with the mechanical room positioned from the middle of the building to the back. The second, fourth, and fifth floors house the working spaces supported by the double core and double back up between two main risers on the east and west. The core also acts as a heat barrier. The third floor, the heart of the project, is for information storage. This floor requires extreme security not only from personal access but also from external terrorist acts. The east and west faades are solid and clad with aluminum composite panel. In contrast, the north faade, with its unitized glazed curtain wall, works with the vertical aluminum fin to offer a sense of security and privacy, as well as reducing verticality to help reduce dust stains while maintaining an elegant appearance.
