Central World Plaza has re-emerged as a result of a renovation and addition to the former Bangkok World Trade Center, which has stood for almost 20 years, It is now the largest shopping center in Bangkok's best location.
Additions were made to various parts of the complex, including zone D (9 stories with a 2 stories basement), zone E (3 stories with a two-storey basement), and zone F (11 stories with a two-storey basement).

With an average of seven stories, It is a massive building with large and deep floor plates, The center can be accessed from many directions including the skywalk to the Bangkok mass transit system.

The design offers the variety of spatial experiences including unique multiple atriums, which provide a sense of direction while also allowing in natural daylight promoting a feeling of openness.

To transform the large solid box, the new second-skin façade was wrapped around the lengthy elevation, which includes an escalator and space in between. The façade glitters and encourages movement toward the front plaza.

This remarkable façade is the longest curtain wall in Thailand and fittingly introduces one of the world's finest multipurpose commercial complex.
